Trip Overview
Nepal is small and beautiful Himalayan country. Tourists visit Nepal to explore the unexplored valleys, jungle safari, trekking in the Hilly region to observe the magnificent view of Himalayan range. Himalayas mean “abode of snow” in Sanskrit comprises of the highest mountain range on earth, extending from east to west covering an area of 612,021 sq.km. With more than 20 peaks higher than 7300 meter above sea level are in Nepal. It extends between latitudes 26 20 and 35 40 and between 74 50 and 95 40 running along the border with Myanmar in the east towards Pakistan in the west. Nepal lies in between the southern slope of Himalayas with eight of the highest peaks in the world. This region accounts for about 64% of total land area. It is formed by the Mahabharata range that soars up to 4,877m and the lower Chure range. The low-land Terai occupies about 17% of the total land area of the country.
Day to Day Itinerary
Arrive at Kathmandu airport, pick up, and transfer to hotel. Free afternoon
After breakfast visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath. Afternoon visit ancient city of Bhaktapur
After breakfast bus ride to rafting. Full day rafting on Trishuli, overnight in camp by the river
After breakfast continue rafting. Lunch by the riverside, drive to Chitwan National park, overnight at Chitwan Safari Lodge
A full day jungle activities that includes elephant safari, jungle walk, in Chitwan National Park.
After breakfast depart for Pokhara, arrive at lunchtime, enjoy boating on Phewa Lake.
After breakfast sightseeing tour to Bindebashini Temple, David Falls, Seti Gorge, Tibetan Refugee Camp, return to hotel.
Start trekking from Pokhara to Tikhedunga, overnight.
Tikhedunga to Ghorepani trek. Overnight in lodge
Ghorepani to Tadapani (hot spring). Overnight in lodge
Tadapani to Ghandruk – a scenic Gurung village. Overnight in lodge
Ghandruk to Pokhara, the trek ends here. Overnight in hotel
Pokhara to Kathmandu either by Tourist coach or flight.
Free day in Kathmandu.
Transfer to airport for your return journey
