Trip Overview
Annapurna Base Camp Trek has been the popular climbing up to the foothills of Mt. Annapurna in north western Nepal. After the Everest base camp trek, Annapurna base camp trekking has been attracting the adventure lovers from all over the world. Along the great mountainous scenes, passing through forests, villages, lakes, landscapes, discovery of local floras and faunas , sightseeing the beautiful cities; Annapurna base camp trek shows us the true colors of real Himalayan adventure.
We will be initiating our Annapurna base camp trek next day after your arrival and completion of briefing and trek preparation in Kathmandu valley. Our Annapurna base camp trek begins when we take the 6 hours drive to Pokhara in a tourist coach. We will explore the scenic lake city Pokhara for the remaining of the day which includes boating at fewa lake, visit to devi’s falls, Gupteshwor cave, Mahendra cave, White river George, Bindabashini temple and Barahi temple. Then we will drive to Pheding next day and trek towards Tolkha. This Annapurna base camp trek lets us to explore the local villages and we will be visiting the Chhomromg village locally inhabited by Gurungs and Magars. Trekking further for the couple of days we will arrive at the Macchapuchre base camp (Fishtail base camp) at an altitude of 3700 meters. Ascending further, finally we will arrive at the Annapurna base camp which exhibits the great scenery of snow capped mountains like Annapurna Himalayan range, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Himchuli and Manaslu. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Himalayas and get to explore the culturally rich hospitality of Gurung, Mgar and Thakali communities while going for the Annapurna base camp trek with Rejoice Tours and Travel. After accomplishing the Annapurna base camp trek successfully, we trek downwards through Bamboo. Beautiful Ghandruk village, Nayapul and finally return back to Kathmandu in the tourist coach.
